Believe it or not, it is still snowing here in rural New York. It doesn’t stay for long, but it sure does make us cold! More indoor time for quilting, I guess.
Do you like to listen to music while you sew? This is a great site: http://www.tropicalglen.com/ I especially enjoy listening to the music that was popular the year that I was born.
Did you participate in Quilt Pink? Our shop made several quilts but they don’t seem to be up for auction yet. If you are looking for yours – or just want to support this worthy charity – you can see the ones currently at auction at
If you are in the NorthEast part of New York, don’t forget about the shop hop at the end of this month. Our shop is not an official member, but we are on the road between two shops and still plan to have sales, door prizes and other special events. In fact, the local deli has offered to have special sandwiches just for our quilters! They have asked me to think of some clever names, and I am at a loss. Tied Tuna with Pinwheel Potato Chips? Log Cabin Brownies? Stone Soup? If you think of anything, please let me know.
As always, I like to leave you with a smile on your face: Hoppy Easter!
