Super Sunday Mystery Quilt, First Clue: Square in a Square Block

Square in a Square Block

Just a quick reminder:  you have only cut strips so far.  You will need to cut smaller pieces from those strips at each clue.  Sometimes you will cut strips down to make smaller strips.  For example, this clue has you cut a 4-3/4″ squares from a 9-1/2″ strip.  To do that, you would cut a 4-3/4″ x 9-1/2″ rectangle, then cut that rectangle in half to make two 4-3/4″ squares. Always save leftover fabric as you may need it for the next clue.

The first clue in the Three Cheers mystery quilt is a Square in a Square block. Click on the link below to download it.

  1. Needed to inform that needed remaining 4 red and white bat wings and one red and white SNS and 3 blue and white bat wings and one red, white and blue sNS. Took a little to determine this, but I am getting a little slower. Thanks.
