Super Sunday Mystery Quilt, Second Clue: Flying Geese

Flying Goose Block

Just a quick reminder:  you have only cut strips so far.  You will need to cut smaller pieces from those strips at each clue.  Sometimes you will cut strips down to make smaller strips.  For example, this clue has you cut a 9″ square from a 12-1/2″ wide strip.  Always save leftover fabric as you may need it for the next clue.

This goose is flying to the finish line!  These directions are written for a Quilt in a Day Small Flying Geese ruler.  If you don’t have one, you can still follow the directions and use a regular 6-1/2″ square ruler.  It’s a little trickier, though.
