This week, you will be making the
long strips for borders and binding
this week you will be sewing ahead

You will need some long strips to create the borders and binding. To save time, sew all these strips end to end ahead of time. Here is how to miter that seam to make it less obvious.
Assemble:
- (6) 2-1/2″ wide White strips for the first border
- (8) 2-1/2″ wide Green strips for the binding
- (8) 5″ wide Red strips for the outer border

That’s it! You have time to rest and catch up on all your unmade blocks. The next group is much easier. You will be making Flying Geese. Here are some ideas – and, no, you don’t have to choose just yet.
- Using a Traditional Method
- Using the Quilt-in-a-Day Flying Goose Ruler
- Using the Wing Clipper or No-Math Ruler
- Using the One-Seam Method
- Using Strips (video)
