# Controlled Scrappy Star – the Center of the Color Me Creative Block of the Month Quilt

The Controlled Scrapy Star is Block Eight in this Block-of-the-Month quilt. This month you will be making (4) “**[controlled scrappy](https://scrapdash.com/how-to-make-a-scrappy-or-controlled-scrappy-quilt/)**” blocks. Instead of using random scraps, you will be using specific colors next to each other. You will be making the center star of the quilt.
