  2. I have always loved a Log Cabin quilt and the black and white is so elegant looking. I also love the idea of the red binding. I had no idea that the cabin blocks had so many different center settings. Thanks for the PDF.

  8. I was very surprised at how it brightened the room. It’s on light colored sheets so when I put it on the bed, I thought the room would get dull. No Way! Maybe it’s the movement of the light and dark, but it really made the room warmer and friendlier.

  11. Years and years. I made the blocks, then set it aside. Years later, I found them and put them together. Years after that, I added the border and sent it out to be quilted. That’s why there are no “in construction” photos – I just didn’t take them. I probably wouldn’t even have the binding on by now if it hadn’t been for the need to finish it for this blog hop:-))

  12. I love the quilt and so glad the hop was a reason to finish. Now, you have me thinking about my other hop commitments and whether I can get a two-fer…. Love the tuturial and yes, those logs can make many different styles of quilts, can’t they!
