Making the Quilt Top
Sew four blocks in a row, rotating every other block so the seam just touch each other. Use pins at these intersections to encourage this behavior. Make (5) rows.

Press the seams of (3) rows to the right. These rows will be the odd rows in your quilt top, rows 1, 3, and 5.

Press the seams of (2) rows to the left. These rows will be the even rows in your quilt top, rows 2, and 4.
Sew the rows in numerical order, using pins at each block intersection to keep the seams straight. Press all the row seams in one direction, either up or down. Your quilt top should measure 56-1/2″ × 70-1/2″.
