Pretty in Paisley
This is a 72″ x 88″ quilt with two narrow borders. If you would like to make it smaller, just make fewer blocks. If you would like to make it larger, just add borders. Easy peasy.

Creating Nine-Patch Blocks
You should now have a total of (16) strip-sets. These sets will need to be cut apart and sewn back together again to make the Nine Patch arrangement.
Working with one strip-set at a time, lay your ruler across the strip-set matching one of the horizontal lines on the ruler with a seam. This should keep your cut straight. Cut every 2-1/2″. You should be able to get (16) three-part units from each strip.
When you are done, you should have (256) three-part units in three different configurations. If you have any extra, set them aside in case you need them in the future.
Sew these together in groups, oriented as shown with the Taupe Pin Drop square in the upper left corner of Nine-Patch Block #2. Press the seam allowances as indicated by the arrows. Because of the way you pressed your seam allowances, they should just touch each other at the intersections. Use pins to encourage this behavior. Your block should measure 6-1/2″ square. Press and square up to 6-1/2″ if necessary. Make (40) of each.
